Minds change…encouraged by our inner voices, intuition, or just because. Trends change, styles change, feelings change, and yes BRIDES change. I started in the wedding planning business in 1988 (ouch) as an apprentice, and started planning weddings on my own in 1996.
And I can’t help but notice how different brides are in 2010! Is it because of skyping? Facebook? On-line classes? Netflx? Not sure which modern convenience may be the cause…but they are just different!
They are smarter, savvier, more in control, they know what they want. Simply put, they are OWNING their brideship.

I have always wanted to bring that same mojo to brides who don’t have a traditional planner in the budget (or simply choose not to hire one) and who want to have the princess wedding….(IT’S POSSIBLE)
So we’re doing it in small groups (like NEVER more than 20 brides, but typically 12-15). And the small group concept is more beneficial in some ways than traditional planning–like how often do you get to kick ideas around with other brides???? NOT opinionated family members…NOT bridesmaids…but a few OTHER BRIDES IN THE SAME BOAT. Have you ever been around two women in a social setting who come to realize they are both getting married? Honey, this gives the term “let it rip” a whole new meaning…
