You know by now that I’m a city girl…New York all the way…horns, crowds, bring it on! But when my DC attorney bride, Nicole, approached me and said I want a Napa Valley style wedding…that’s music to my ears! Nicole and Brian’s wedding was oozing with details and lovely signage( kudos to Valarie, the MOB:). And I got to play with some of my favorite design elements…artichokes, apples, antique hydrangea, dahlias (PERFECT in September) and I got to mix delicious textures in the bridesmaids bouquets–thistle, mums, and orchids BOO-Yah! I was in heaven…. And check out the inlaid wood invitations and table numbers…yeah baby, that’s what I’m talking about! And the thing that made it the most pleasurable for this wedding planner, event designer: Nicole was a fun loving, down to earth, relaxed bride…she had FUN. And I hope she is having fun right now with Brian on her honeymoon on the delicious isle of Capri. My guess, is…they are living it up:)
